Moultrie D-880 Customer Reviews

The Moultrie M-880 Trail Camera does a great job. Pictures are clear and sharp, excellent color rendering during daylight. Nighttime photos are also excellent. Range is very good…haven’t tested it to advertised maximum range but it’s proved itself out to forty feet. I’m pleased enough with this camera that I’ve ordered another one.

I love the pictures the Moultrie M-880 trail camera takes. Great quality, day or night, the night time motion freeze is ok, not great but better than most night pics when the deer is moving. easy to use, good battery life, love the flash range, and for whatever reason it pics up animals way past the detection range. I love this camera and will be buying more.

Bought two Moultrie M-880′s for our mountain land in Tennessee. The camera is very easy to program, but play with it some at the house and in the back yard before taking it out to the woods. We’ve gotten hundreds of deer photos already, but we bought the cameras to get other animals. So far we have armadillos, coyotes, owls, bob cats, squirrels, rabbits, hawks, etc. Photos are sharp. First shot speed is quick, about 1 second. I like the 4 photo burst mode for fast moving critters. We have not tried the video yet. We are using 16 GB memory cards and alkaline batteries.

I’ve had my M-880 for about a month and have had it out on a white oak patch from the first day set to take three pictures every ten seconds. It has taken between 150 to 250 pictures each day and has performed flawlessly. Shutter speed is good and the pictures are clear and crisp. If a deer is moving the image is sometimes slightly blurred but it’s not a major problem.
I love the compact size. It’s very easy to set up and to make changes to your settings. My battery life is at 74 percent even after all these pictures. So far it’s a great camera for the price. I would highly recommend it.
