Trail Camera Description

The Moultrie Panoramic 150 Trail Camera Review comes with 3 infrared motion sensors that cover a super-wide 150 degree detection area. Compare that to your current scouting camera. The Moultrie Panoramic 150 boasts a field of view that is 3X greater than standard trail cameras. When movement is detected, the Silent-Slide lens rotates silently to take photos or videos. With a 1-sec trigger speed and able to capture over 8,000 images on a single set of 4 c-cell batteries.

Pictures come in two forms: 16:9 widescreen or 48:9 panoramic. This infrared camera is the perfect choice for all of your trail camera needs. When set to panoramic mode, every time the trail camera is triggered, it will take 3 photos (from one side to the other) that are then stitched together automatically to form a panoramic photo.

The Panoramic 150 also offers five unique operational modes: 150° Panoramic camera, infrared triggered trail camera (single image mode), time-lapse plot camera, plot camera by day/ motion detect camera at night, and 720p HD video day and night.

Moultrie Panoramic 150 Customer Reviews

It’s amazing how new ideas keep emerging in this industry. I purchased the Moultrie Panoramic 150 Trail Camera Review to monitor a small rectangular plot along the entrance lane to our property. Thus it monitors both wildlife and human activity. This camera is perfect for a tree on the edge of a woodlot facing out into the open. Minor caveats – If you are not familiar with panoramic shots – be aware that they are very wide but not very tall at all. This makes them difficult to view in the field with a hand-held viewer. However, set in single shot mode, this camera should still have excellent “peripheral vision” with standard images. I plan to test that mode next. Overall this appears to be an excellent, well built camera that will significantly expand the field of view compared with traditional models. In recent years, I have also found Moultrie cameras much more reliable with longer life span that the other “industry leading” brand that is now turning out models that look great but break down far too soon, at least in my hands.

The panoramic pictures are really great, the view is so wide and captures everything in the area. The night picture have more detail than other cameras we have tried.

I have had Moultrie cameras ( and others ) for years now, and find the flash of most Moultrie cameras to far surpass that of others. Pics are great to. Videos, not so much, but still quite good. When the “motion Freeze” was introduced, it was a nice improvement, but not quite up what I expected. Then, the Moultrie Panoramic 150 Trail Camera Review arrives on the scene and I cannot expresses how happy we are about all the features of this camera. I did not realize that they had “improved” the freeze aspect, but apparently they did something, I have many pictures of deer ( usually does of course ) standing on their hind legs fighting and they are perfectly frozen in time, Not the slightest blur of any type.

The panoramic photos were great. Seamlessly stitched together. The color photos were of very good quality even with an evening sun near the sight line. The night photos were some of the best I have seen over the past seven years. The camera was very quick to activate.
